What is the point in having so many different rubrics?
Performance assessment is based on the ability to produce a project to show what they have learned instead of doing a written test. In my content area (art) I will be doing a lot of performance assessment. For each project, I will give a rubric to show what the objective and goals are. Then once they are finished with their project, they have to grade themselves based off a checklist. When going through the checklist, it will give them a chance to reflect on their project and allow them to go back and change things. For high school, grading on a technical aspect is something they can help. For instance in a 3D class, they will be graded on how well the project is assembled. When going through the checklist, they might see some things they can do to help better their technical grade.
