Module 12 & 14 Post 2

When reading chapters from a textbook, I wish I was more efficient when taking notes. Sometimes I will highlight important ideas and when doing that, I find that it helps when I have to recall that information later on in the semester. The best studying tool for me is making flashcards. I had to take a couple art history classes. In those classes you have to remember a lot of different information such as the title of the work, the artist, style, and the date it was made. I would put a picture of the work on one side of the card and on the other I would write the information. This helped a lot because I would have a visual representation along with the information. Also it made it a lot easier to read the information over and over so that I could remember the information.

  1. I said the same thing with making flashcards. I agree that it is such a great method because you are learning the information when you first read it and then writing it out on a flashcard really ingrains it into my memory.
