-An example of how someone might learn something is lets say learning how to cross the street. The information being told will go into their brain. The sensory memory will work because they will see how to cross the street. Crossing the street is important information so the information will make it past the sensory stage into the working stage. Then in working memory the information is reherased everytime a child crosses the street. As the child become more familiar with crossing the street it is then encoded into the long term memory. Here it will stay here and they will use crossing the street thoughout their life time, especially when they get older and they start learning how to drive.
